MULTIMEDIA WEBSHELL

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6507, Multimedia for Education and Training. This multimedia project was created using the programs Dreamweaver and Cyberduck. The topic of this project was the media's impact on crime prevention. The purpose of this assignment was the development of a web shell that was utilized in the creation of a final multimedia project. The project included internal and external inks; an email ink; and appropriate graphics, labels, and tags. Considerations were made on the appropriate display of page properties, design issues, and design scheme. The delivery mechanism was a website.

Audacity

AUDIO

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6507, Multimedia for Education and Training. An audio presentation was created for inclusion in the course’s final project, and was meant to show the appropriate use of audio as presented and discussed throughout the course. The audio was created using Anchor and was transferred to Audacity for submission purposes. The topic of the audio was the media’s impact on crime and crime prevention.  The audio included personally created content accompanied by background music found on the Uppbeat website and is approximately three minutes in length. Considerations were made regarding content, technicality, and presentation when creating this project. The finished product was intended to demonstrate appropriate delivery of content and a grasp of how audio can be utilized in teaching and learning scenarios.

PODCAST

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6457, Distance Education.  Using Anchor, an approximately five-minute podcast on how the media impacts copycat crime was created.  This podcast was developed as an introductory episode of a potential podcast series.  After its creation, the podcast was then transferred to Audacity and posted to the course using PodBean.  The podcast was promoted to other classmates through a written description of the episode that was posted on the course discussion board.  Peers were then invited to listen and provide feedback on the content and delivery of the podcast episode.

GRAPHICS-LAYOUT

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6507, Multimedia for Education and Training. Using PowerPoint, a narrated presentation was created on the media’s impact on crime prevention. In creating the project, internal and external links, consistent transitions and customizations, a clear navigational structure, and personal contact details were included. In creating the project, several considerations were taken into account including presentation design, spelling and grammar, visual enhancement, and narration components. Graphics were also incorporated into the presentation, including those found online as well as those created and altered especially for this project.

MULTIMEDIA FINAL PROJECT

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6507, Multimedia for Education and Training. This multimedia project was revised, according to instructor feedback, using the programs Dreamweaver and Cyberduck. The topic of this project was the media’s impact on crime prevention. This project was meant to incorporate all of the various forms of media (such as audio) that had been discussed throughout the course. The goal of this project was to grow from the project shell previously submitted. This project included at least four types of media, and the delivery mechanism was a website.

GROUP PROJECT

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6607, Planned Change in Instructional Technology. This multimedia project was the final of five group projects that was created based on instructor feedback from the previous four assignments using Microsoft PowerPoint. This project was meant to demonstrate knowledge of instructional design through the creation of a digital prototype that displayed the transition of a traditional face-to-face course into an online course. Included on the slides were graphics using multidimensional aspects and original content.

INFOGRAPHICS PROJECT

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6507, Multimedia for Education and Training. The project was created using Canva and Adobe Photoshop and saved as a PDF file. The topic was chosen by the instructor, and students were tasked with preparing instructional materials. This infographic was an individually created product as part of a group project. All graphics, content, and design of this portion of the assignment were personally chosen and implemented and submitted to the group for review and approval prior to final submission.

INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO PROJECT

This project was created as part of the University of Central Florida course EME6457, Distance Education: Technology, Procedures, and Products. This multimedia project was revised, according to instructor feedback, using original storyboards, scripts, and video recordings through the use of various media, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. The topic of this project was Introduction to Bowling, including etiquette, form, and delivery. This project was meant to incorporate all of the various forms of media (such as audio and visual) that had been discussed throughout the course. The goal of this project was to utilize different forms of media to virtually deliver instruction.
